Accidents can cause significant damage to brittle tooth structure. If sufficient tooth remains there are ways to restore a tooth without the need for its removal and replacement with an implant-retained crown.
Three incisors were fractured due to trauma. The left central incisor had an additional large fracture under the soft tissue level. If the root is long enough it can be repositioned with orthodontics to expose enough so it can be restored with a crown. This takes many months to stablize before the treatment can be completed. The two central incisors and the right lateral incisor are restored with metal-ceramic crowns.
